Games - The Get Out Swim!

Fun & speed

The get out swim is exactly that! You can use it to eliminate your fastest swimmers or to eliminate your slowest swimmers. Either way it promotes fast swimming. Have every swimmer line up along the side of the pool. On the signal, every swimmer dives in and races across the pool, pulls themselves up on the deck and must stand up. The last swimmer to stand up is disqualified either one or two at a time. Continue the relay until only 2 swimmers remain. Get a lot of cheering going for the last two, and a little prize like a jellybean can be a big reward. Repeat this game eliminating the fastest swimmers first!


You many wish to race the boys and girls separately, or the older and younger swimmers separately.
